I woke up this morning and the first thing that my mind saw was the first two lines. I finished it before practice, did my practice, and I’m still on my way.
Every morning I find myself here
Atop of my mat it’s so very unclear
I’m breathing I’m moving that is for sure
I quit my medicine and yet there’s no cure
I thought I was doing the thing that is right
I’ll restart the medicine on Saturday night
I’m not sure I’ll finish this quest it’s in doubt
There’s five days to go but I will not pout
I’ll give it a go to the full moon and rest
Some coffee with sugar and cream that’s the best
It will be my treat
when this is complete
