One more sleep till I’m catheter free
It’s going to be great to just go pee
On new underwear I will depend
While my bladder is still on the mend
The other day I did steal
A pad from the bathroom, it’s not a big deal
In this house I’m the only male
I took it, I placed it, I did avail
It worked just fine why would it not
There was a leak in just a small spot
13 days with catheter attached
Tomorrow’s the day when I am detached
That has got to be the best poem yet –
All the best with no more wet !
