It’s actually been a year since I started this blog.
The yoga frogs decided to get together and have a party to celebrate but a few of them could not make it.
A while back before I started this blog my granddaughter and I started a fairy garden in the front yard. We went to the store and my granddaughter picked an angel, a door, some tables, etc. etc. and I picked a frog doing Padmasana (lotus posture), we set it up in front of a tree close to the curb.
When I started this blog I wanted to add a photo and I thought I’d take one of the yoga frog in the fairy garden but when I went out to take it, the frog was gone. All the other figures are still there; only the frog is missing, da da daaaaa.
So I went to the store and found another yoga frog in upward facing dog. Placed it in the fairy garden, took a picture and used it for the first yoga blog. Shortly after; upward-facing-dog-frog also disappeared. All the other figures are still there, this is quite a mystery, double da da daaaaa.
When my granddaughter started kindergarten, which is about 800 meters from home. I walked her there and back every day and at that time that distance was just under my max. Amongst the many discoveries on that walk was a cat named Huckles which is short for Huckleberry. He would meet us every day lay on his back while asking for a belly rub.
Huckles is a huge, brown, Maine Coon cat with a particular fetish – he hordes garden gloves. At night Huckles ventures out and steals these gloves and brings them back home. He has brought home over 100 gloves – I’ve seen the pile.
So our current theory is that Huckles is expanding his business plan into stealing frogs doing yoga poses – triple da da daaaaa.
So until we figure what’s happening the frogs have been staying inside and those who are left had this anniversary party (photo above). My granddaughter put the party together, socially distanced them, and put face masks on them – what a time we are living in.
I enjoy writing about my Ashtanga / MS Journeys and I hope these stories provide some kind of insight, positivity, and or inspiration as to what is possible.
Thank you for reading.
