Why am I sore a question often asked
The answer is age not sure it will last
The mat says hi I say hello
I lay on top but I’m sinking below

I start to see that I belong
Maybe I’ll stay of that I do long
The floating starts as breath it comes
There’s muscles there I still hear the drums

Battles battles I can not win
It does not matter there is more within
The proof is there I’ll stay on this ride
To know how it feels there’s still lots inside

You see I am what I want to be
You’d never know it by what you can see
There’s more of it there I wish you knew
It stays deep within it will not come through

These poems that say what I can not
It’s not me that’s talking for he has forgot
So there you have it I’m happy it’s me
What I’ve become is all I can be

It may sound cryptic I like it that way
It makes no matter what you will say
It’s just about life and how we arrive
There’s more to go of which I do strive
